Master of Magic - Implode's Multiplayer Edition

Im not sure what im doing wrong. It seems from what ppl r posting that you can play MOMIME single player vs. AI but i can't get it to work

I start a new game on the server, but i won't let me have less than 2 human players

then i start the client and join the game but I can't start because (im guessing) there is no 2nd human player?

any ideas?

You have to have 2 players (AI or human) to play a game, so you need to increase the number of AI players to 1 or more before you can reduce the number of human players to 1.
