New forum

[Implode]

Obviously if you've got this far you'll have noticed the forum has changed quite a bit :) I've updated it from phpBB2 to phpBB3. It has a new path so you'll need to update your bookmarks.

I've gone through everything and it seems to all be OK, but if you have any trouble with the new board post a message or email me and I'll see what I can do.

It's not that this is the only place this is happening to. But spammers are one pain in the a** (and THIS version is not the worst that can take place).

I visited the phpBB forums - the answer to this problem is not easy.

There are several things one can do to prevent spam. Akismet is easy and likely most effective.

Spamming is clearly getting out of hand...

I am willing to tune up the forums with Akismet and other anti-spam tricks, and moderate them, if Implode will let me.

the spam is completely out of hand.. I also am willing to moderate and have years of experience moderating and pruning phbbb forums
