Instead of razing the opponents capital, you can take it and raze it by building settlers. That way you don't lose fame when razing it.


However, getting high scores is very time consuming and boring. Such a game can take a week easily (this doesn't mean I haven't done it :D )

yeah, I forgot about that. Mass build settlers in your fringe city, raze every structure possible, and then leave it all nice and empty for some rampaging monster or wondering foe to take it out. (I don't think you can reduce a city size to 0 through settler building)

then back off, sit back, let the computer rebuild and repeat. maybe that would work?

Yep, you can. Of course, you have to buy it since it take too much time to build it with the last farmer..

well, once you've picked up enough steam, I'm pretty sure that kind of investment would not be too difficult.
