AI players not cooperating

Post by Mack223 »

I recently installed ime, but when I try to start the game, the client waits for AI players to join, as if they were human ones. Any thoughts?

Sounds odd, you set the number of human players to 1, yes?

Aye. I even tried putting more than one human, to see if there were any differences with just one, zilch :(

Then something else is messed up and this is just the side effect of it that you're seeing. Can you download the debug versions and try those, and email me the log files generated from both and I'll take a look.

Thanks,

Implode.

Sorry made a mistake, its not the "number of human players" (so you'd put ONE), its the "number of human opponents" - so to play a single player game leave this as ZERO, and set the number of AI opponents to 1 or more.

I also made the same mistake the first time around :)

Maybe change it so that you have to fill in the amount of human players instead of human opponents?
